Acting Classes for Cedar Hill Students

Playhouse West Dallas trains actors from Cedar Hill in the Meisner technique at our one studio location in Dallas, about 18.3 miles northeast of town. There is no local branch — all classes happen in person at the Dallas studio.

Cedar Hill sits in Dallas County alongside Arlington, Grand Prairie, Mansfield and DeSoto, and students from all these areas make the drive into Dallas for Meisner training. The commute from Cedar Hill takes some planning, but it is a familiar route for many who study here regularly.

Our training is built around the Meisner technique, a method rooted in honest reaction and repetition exercises rather than memorized line delivery. Classes are organized by level, so beginning, intermediate and advanced students each work through material suited to where they are in their development as actors.
